I never knew just how much a quiet house would impact both my husband and myself. We have a stairwell that leads to the basement. On the walls down that stairwell we have art work that the kids have done over the years. It is a daily blessing making my way to the garage to see their works of art that have been cultivated from a young age until they grew up. After the works of art are their awards from high school. Those moments are precious to us.
